There's only so many weekends in a year, don't delay
Format for the day
It's your party, you can have it exactly as you envision it, but here's a tried and tested format.
A 2 hour non stop fun children's party 10am - I arrive an hour before the party starts and set my stuff up.
11am - children are welcomed to the party by me and given a spinning plate to break the ice. We will get everyone spinning a plate as a nice inclusive warm up and its a chance to introduce myself whilst allowing everyone to filter in.

11.15 - We then kick things off properly with an action packed 35 minute circus show, this is where I want the parents to sit back and enjoy the show, its not just for the kids, this is proper circus!

11.50 - a break for food and cake, I'll help the children get settled and assist you with the singing happy birthday. I can even take pictures if you would like.
​
12.20 - Now its time for a really special photo opportunity. Children will be bustling to get a chance to stand inside a bubble, parents get your cameras at the ready.

1pm - Time to go home : (

I love this video, I think it's the best advert for me as a children's entertainer, it brought the birthday mum to tears when she saw it, i've been close to tears watching it and I've even had emails from other mums saying they were close to tears watching this video. I will give credit to the fine Greatest Showman soundtrack for it's emotive qualities but this children's party just had everything. So many nice moments that are always different. Birthday girl Bea was a total star.

How do I make myself stand out as a children's entertainer?
Amazing Circus Show
I have worked hard through the early years of my career and even before I was doing this professionally, honing my circus skills. Now I am confident in my ability to engage and inspire children and adults from all walks of life and put on a children's party that is fairly unrivalled. The show is definitely a focal point of my children's parties. Ram packed with special moments all the way through, the birthday child balancing on my hands and the whole crowd clapping and cheering to a Greatest Showman soundtrack. Dancing with the birthday dad on my unicycle? Anything can happen and quite often it's the unplanned moments that are the best because they are organic and beautifully spontaneous.

Stand inside a bubble
You may have seen this at other parties, there are various people doing it, but it can't be denied that this is a really beautiful moment. Sometimes it takes a little patience but once we get the bubbles working. It's a moment to cherish, you can even stand 2 siblings together in the bubble, sibling bonding as well as fantastic fun.

Big Balloon Disco finale
The big balloon disco is all in the name. It's exciting, it's colourful and wonderfully chaotic. BBD is only possible when the venue is appropriate, we need nice high ceilings with no hanging lanterns.
