2018 has started at 100mph with days upon days of school circus workshops and countless weekends entertaining energetic children at children's parties. One of the strangest things is, having lived in Bristol for 8 years now, i've only just performed at my first Bristol children's party. A bit like Kings of Leon not being popular in America, I have always travelled here, there and everywhere for children's parties but not yet stayed local with parties in Bristol. I'm glad to say I've just done one and I've now got 3 in the upcoming schedule.
Lacey's 10th birthday was booked as a result of me visiting her primary school in January. Which is a great example of local work snowballing so fingers crossed it carries on. We started off with some circus skills and discovered that some of these children were already rather talented. A few of them were instant plate spinners and Lacey was a great acrobat working with Moses. We kicked things off with some birthday bumps on the mega ball for Lacey. Then went into the circus show featuring dynamic duo Lucas and Moses.
A stand out moment for me was carrying younger brother Fletch on my unicycle segway much to the delight of the parents. Fletch played up to the crowd with his super man pose and certainly looked like he enjoyed it.
After the show we had a quick refreshments break and went back to the acrobatics. Moses led the group in building a human pyramid whilst I helped more people have a go on the mega ball. We also had great fun taking turns to pose inside a bubble.
Thanks for having me Sarah, Ricky and Lacey! Happy Birthday and thanks for the great feedback!
